What Causes Anal Pain?

I have anal pain. I am not constipated nor i have hemoroid! My doctor examined ( vaginal and anal) she said she can not find out what is wrong. She said to sit in hot water and take advil! I did that but it is not helping me. I had a baby 6 months ago. I am worried. Could it be something serious?

Hi thanks for asking question.

If stool consistency hard then it can also lead pain while defecation.
Reason may be less water, less fiber , less fruits and less green leafy veg.So these should be corrected.

Had you done prctosopy examination??
It will reveal internal hemorrhoid or fissure if present.

Just now take brufen and warm water sitz bath with stool softener.

If blood present in stool then stool examination done for rule out parasitic infection.

If pus cell present then bacterial infection could because.antibiotic given for it.

If still your pain increasing then ultrasound or colonoscopy can be done to investigated further to rule out nonspecific colitis or obstructive lesions...

Wish you good health.

Take care.
