What Causes Anger And Rude Behavior In A 92 Year Old?

Hi my mother had a stroke, 2 yrs ago Feb. and is having some signs of dementia. Also, every time I call her, she seems so anger and rude. Is this normal for age of 92 and for what happened to her? Oh, she is able to bath dress herself, cook clean go out with friends by herself. Lives alone. Asked me to leave. She is upset that she can not drive and blames me that she sold the car. Her choice. hello
what your mom is experiencing is known as elderly sundowning sydrome, where an elderly person having signs of dementia becomes rude and gets angry easily. one of the common causes is Alzheimers disease. one of the reason can also be reduced sleep. I ll suggest you to please consult a psychiatrist.
