What Causes Ankle Sprain With No Obvious Cause For It?

well on the 4th of july 2014 my ankles (one way more than the other) just started to feel like they are sprained. then my left ankle started to turn red and swell and then hot and hard. The other ankle hearts the same way but isn t swollen or red or any of that. Anyway here it is the 8th of july and I can barely use my right leg
