What Causes Anus Itching?

I have an itchy anus and have been examined by a doctor who sent me for blood and urine tests that came back negative the visual inspction and internal examination were descriped as just mild redness i still have this itchyness that is driving me mad other than proct cream i have had no definitive diagnosis and still have the problem any ides please

Your query being appreciated, the most common cause of anal pruritus is pin worm infection and it has to be given try first to eradicate the infection and for that I would suggest Mebendazole 100 mg once in week for three week, in differential diagnosis it could be fungal infection I would suggest to try Miconazole local application for that third it could be allergic condition and it can be managed with local anesthetic agent hope this information helps.
