What Causes Anxiety After Having Fibreglass Short On Fracture?

i fractured my wrist and have a fiberglass short cast on yesterday. I have ben up past 4 hours and having an anxiety panic attack. I am about to rip off the cast. Being restricted has always caused me to freak out and panic. My mouth is dry and my chest feels pressure. Is there an alternative to this style of cast?

In my experience, it is quite natural for any person to become anxious and restless if confined physically or curbed movement in the initial stages of being curbed. Once he understands there is no alternatives, he calms down and do the best he can. That is what you should do.
