What Causes Anxiety And Depression While On Fluoxetine And Lamictal?

I have been on FLUOXTINE FOR ABOUT 1 month, along with 100mg of lamictal . Was still feeling a lot of anxiety and depression still . So now my psychic dr has up me to 40 mg FLUOXTINE and if still not better in 2 weeks to up my lamictal to 150 mg . I felt this would be best because I have a fear of changing and combining meds. So my question is the FLUOXTINE is covered by ins at 20 mg caps ,so do I take 2 20 mg in the morning or 1 20mg morning and 1 20 mg a noon or is it ok to take at bed time because that s when I was taking my 20 mg dose ?

Fluoxetine can be taken as 40 mg in the morning or 20 mg at morning and noon, whichever is more comfortable schedule for you. The medication can be taken with food. You should wait atleast 4 weeks to see the full effect of the new dose of fluoxetine. Sometimes it may take even up to 6 weeks.
