What Causes Asymmetric Development Of Breasts And Painful Lump?
My nine year old daughter has pain in her left breast (nipple area). Her right breast is Tanner 1 and her left breast resemble Tanner II - assymetriic with a visible and palpable hard, painful lump. I would like her to have an ultrasound. How common is the assymetric development of breasts with a painful lump?

What Causes Asymmetric Development Of Breasts And Painful Lump?
Hello, An ultrasound breast is required to look for any swellings like fibroadenoma. If the swelling, is large, it must be excised. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
