In my opinion physiotherapy , spinal stretching and straightening exercises with hot gentle massaging with topical anti-inflammatory gels is very helpful , B12 vitamin supplements , muscle relaxants and painkillers like tylenol tabs when needed is effective in most of cases . In chronic patients steroid injections and gabapentin or pregabalins are prescribed for 6 consecutive months if failed i recommend further investigations like MRI and follow them with you neurosurgeon for better evaluation and management if it requires further endoscopic or surgical interventions .
