What Causes Back Pain While Having Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?
I m having discomfort in pelvic area. I have been diagnosed with PID and complex ovarian cysts, so I thought that could explain the pain, but when I went to push down on my stomach I felt a needle-like sharp pain in my back. I m concerned, should I be worried, and what can cause this type of pain?
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nizar Ali's Response
Well...Back pain ..is also present in pelvic inflammatory diseases.it could be due rupture of cysts. But you feel Sharp pain while bending ..this could be from the spinal nerve root, something will be pressing on that. You better to do a lumbisacral spine xrays and ultrasound abdomen. You better go to a doctor to examine your spinal cord for correct diagnosis.
