Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
A sharp
back pain while standing may more likely be due to mechanical pull to paraspinal muscles. This may also be due to PIVD, but that is less likely.
Regarding urogenital symptoms, you have only increased frequency of urination. This may or may not be due to
urinary tract infection. UTI may produce back pain. However, that pain is usually dull aching and persistent, except for the condition when one has a ureteric stone. But, increased frequency may also occur in normal individuals in the absence of any infection.
I think you should consult your local
urologist for further evaluation.
You should have the following tests done-
Complete blood count, urea, creatinine
Urine for routine examination
Xray LS Spine- ap/lat
USG KUB
For the time being please have plenty of oral fluid.
Avoid prolonged sitting or carrying heavy weight.
Performed abdominal muscles strengthening exercise.
You may need antibiotics, if you are having UTI.
For any further questions, please write back to me.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
