What Causes Back, Stomach, Chest, Armpit, Groin And Neck Spots?

Hi there My 7 year old son woke up last night with red spots on his back (mostly), stomach, chest, under rigtht arm and neck. There are also a couple above the groin. There were more appearing yesterday afternoon, but it doesn t look like more today. The school thinks it is chicken pox, however they don t appear to be itchy and are not containing fluid... any ideas?

Hello,

The sudden appearance of red spots without itching.. ould be due to low platelets please go to nearby pediatrician and get your son checked for ITP.
