What Causes Backache And Abnormal Blinking In A Toddler?

Hello, my 3 year old boy had a high fever last week.it is over now, and has been for 3 days. However, he complains that his back hurts, and he is blinking strangely - almost forced. Today, he is still complaining. What could be going on? The blinking in particular has me concerned.
