What Causes Backache Around The Kidney Area?

I’m experiencing pain in my back, right where my kidneys are. I am drinking a lot of fluids, but only have to urinate 3 times a day. I have dry mouth, my urine is a dark honey color, and has a strong smell to it. Any ideas as to what it might be? Also, I have been sick since this all started.
