What Causes Bacteria And Mucous Thread In Urine Analysis?

my daughter around 6 yrs old having pain in the lower abdomen and consult with doctor and informs there is infection in the vaginal area hence use bentodine solution for cleaning and send the urine for analysis. . In report bacteria and mucus thread is present. I want to know is this a major problem?

* Causes may be improper hygiene, lack of hydration or others.
