What Causes Bad Odor From Vagina?
Hello!
I am a girl aged 15 from Aarhus who want answers to a thing!
I smell like such a little bit in the abdomen. I can sit with legs apart without the smell, but when I take my pants off when I go to toilet then there's a smell. Just wanted to hear about it is normal that one smells a little bit in the abdomen? And the boys would think it's disgusting and give a finger that smells a little? that's why I want to hear about it is normal. :-)

P.s. When I have be told it's very different how early it starts to smell. Sometimes it is 2 hours while other times it is 8 -10 hours!

Usually vagina has a characteristic musky smell which is not unpleasant. If you are getting a fish-like smell or abnormal discharge it is most likely due to bacterial vaginosis. In such condition, I treat my patients with combination of antibiotics like metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole in the form of suppository or oral tab. I also recommend them to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and thereby prevent them from getting further infections.
