What Causes Bad Vaginal Odour And Milky Discharge?

i have had really bad vaginal odor and discharge for the past year now. I ve been tested negative for stds(latest 2 months ago) and have been with the same partner for 3 years now. i started noticing the odor when i got pregnant and believed it was just a symptom from pregnancy, it is now 6 months after giving birth and it has not gone away and has actually gotten stronger. I ve tried all sorts of remidies such as vagisil and rephresh 30 day pills, and nothing has worked. i wash myself after intercourse and pee also, i change my underwear daily and i rinse the area with warm water when i take a shower. I ve never douched and I ve never had irritation such as itchiness or pain during urination. my only symptoms are strong fishy odor and light milky discharge. i need to know what this could be or what i can do to stop the odor and heavy discharge. thank you

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely bacterial vaginosis.It is better to have a pelvic examination with a gynecologist and take a swab to rule out this.For bacterial vaginosis i treat my patients with combination of antibiotics like metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or as oral tab.I also advise them to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent from getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
