Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Thursday I when I had my morning bowel movement, my stool was black. Continued that way through the day. I have not eaten spinach or taken Pepto. I have been taking first Celebrex and then Ibuprofen for pain from ruptured disks in my spine. Today is Friday. The black stool is continuing and when I blew my nose, bright red blood came out. I can't see a doctor until next Tuesday, because of New Year's weekend. Do I need to go the ER to have this checked out? Thank you for your help...
