Hi.
Thank for your query.
Noted your history of
preterm labor 2 weeks ago at 21 weeks due to
cervix not holding the
pregnancy as LEEP was done a few years ago. You are bleeding black blood and black stuff in it looking like a poop and has a horrible smell.
With your history I can think of reasons:
Firstly the intra-uterine contents like clot or retailed placenta could have got infected, causing the bleeding to continue and have horrible smell.
Another possibility is that there is a fistula between the intestine and vagina and so.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get a clinical examination,
Hysteroscopy and see the contents and clear the cavity.
Colonoscopy and dye test may be required to to rule out any fistula and if preset can be planned to operate.
Send the sample of the discharge for microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
The report will further guide the plan of treatment.
