Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 19 month old son who has had 3 bowl movements today, 2 of which have had a black lumpy jelly look along with some normal bowl with it. He has been tempermatic for 24 hours as well. Could this be a sign of anything? I plan on making a doctors appointment for him tomorrow, but I am wondering if I should taking him to my local Children's Medical Center tonight. Thank you!

Presence of black lumpy jelly like stools requires further evaluation. Possibility of Intussusception needs to be considered. Would suggest you to consult local area hospital.
