What Causes Black Stool Despite A Normal Blood Test Report?

I have tan colored stool for the last day and a half. I had 104 lipid? Count but took a follow up blood test and everything was normal. Dr. Took me off simvistatin and switched me from Norco to oxycontin. (I have RA). I also take omeprozole every day.
