General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per the description, the substance passed in the stool is most likely to be undigested or partially digested food particle.

However, a lab report is confirmatory for the final diagnosis.

* The presence of associated cramps indicate possible indigestion, digestive enzyme disturbances or minor inflammation of part of the colon.

* In my clinic, I recommend symptomatic treatment and later on if needed colonoscopy or supportive evaluation for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
