Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am an 18 year old girl and I have always had messed up bowls. When I was younger I was allergic to milk and this caused me to become malnourished (5 months old). As I got older I was able to eat dairy products but too much in excess would cause me to become constipated. When I got into my early teens the constipation stopped and I am able to eat as much dairy as I want but instead of causing my body to reject it I cut it out of my diet. From being constipated so much as a child I began having hemorrhoids. They aren t very large and since I eat no dairy I never have issues with them. Well now I am experiencing a new issue and that is when I have a bowl movement there is a large amount of bright red blood in the toilet bowl. Most often when I have a bowl movement it is soft and normal colored and I do not have to strain to get it out. Could you please help me to figure out what is causing this? Thank you in advance.
It is advanced bleeding haemorrhoids piles. So prevention by preventing constipation, take laxatives, fibrous food, control bleeding by taking tranaxmic acid tabs, sietz bath n consult a surgeon if it doesn't improve to remove it surgically.
