What Causes Bleeding During Pregnancy?

hello doctor, I am 14 week s pregnant , i have hypothyroidism , i had heavy bleeding , l was given progestrone harmone to stop bleeding ,since the start of pregnancy i am taking progestrone tablet , last month my TSH value was 8.9 then they increased the dose from 25mg to 50mg , i want to know the cause of bleeding
