What Causes Bleeding From Anus?

Hi Doc. My brother butt is bleeding much blood. What is the meaning of that? Or what is the possible disease/illness of it? And also his highblood too. He went to the hospital yesterday. And the doctor get a little of his intestine for the examination. But wer bothered because 1 month to wait for the result. Is that okay doc? Is it not bad to wait for a 1 month?
