Good Morning,I suffer from external haemeroids and have been experiencing a fair amount of blood loss when i use the toilet, now i have experienced these symptoms for over 2 years now but the bleeding seems to be getting worse.Should i be worried? Do i need to get these operated on? I know colon cancer symptons say about blood in stools but mine is not in the stools it is from when i wipe and sometimes just dribbling out.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of external hemorrhoids with blood loss over 2 years, Wants to know whether to be worried and about cancer colon. Since there is external hemorrhoid which are bleeding for 2 yeas, they need to be operated and the problems cured. I would advise you the following: Colonoscopy and proctoscopy Tests of blood for anemia and to get corrected before surgery. To find out any other medical problems and get treated. Consult a General Surgeon or a Proctologist. Get operated after a good preparation.
