What Causes Bleeding From The Rectum While Passing Stools With Foul Odor?

I am experiencing bleeding from the rectum. I have the urge to have a bowel movement all the time. When I go the stools are watery, a lot of mucus, and bloody. You can even smell the blood in them. I am also experiencing fatigue, and a lot of pain in the abdomen. Never mind. I didn t know I wad going to have to pay. I have no insurance and live on 1200 a month for a family of 4. Sorry to bother you!

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

The symptoms you have are suggestive of proctocolitis (inflammation of the colon and rectum). One of the probable cause is inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis.
A colonoscopy test may be done for confirmation.

I hope that answers your question.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
