What Causes Bleeding From The Rectum?

I am having bleeding from my rectum, even when I have not just had a BM.(4 days) I broke my right tib-fib in 1999. There was never an xray of the hip, and now, my hip is hurting very badly, and when I stand up, pain grabs me in the groin area at my thigh to the point I can barely stand up. It takes me several minutes to finally straighten up and walk with pain. The pain is starting to radiate to the left side of my back.(3 weeks) I have also been fighting something with my urinary tract since January. I go on antibiotic and it goes away, but then I develop a strong odorous smell to my urine.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

bleeding from rectum since long time could be due to piles, fissures, fistula or rarely any growth in rectum etc.

You have also issue with your urinary tract and back pain since long time which could be due to urinary tract infection or kidney stone.

First u get examined by surgeon to rule out above possibilities.

You may require below mentioned treatment.

1) Take quinolones antibiotics with antiprotozoals,
2) Anovate or Dobesil cream or ointment to be applied over anus.
3)Hot seitz bath with analgesic available OTC.
4) Sit naked in hot warm water for 15 minutes
5) Avoid alcohol,
6)Avoid oily and spicy foods.
