What Causes Blisters In Hands And Feet Soles After Taking Penicillin?

I recently came down with a really bad sore throat that started with flu like symptons for 12 hours. After the fever, achiness and headache went I was left with a really bad sore throat for another day which was not getting better. Anyway my wife had about 50 tablets of penicilyn left over from her bad tooth so I started taking them and after just two tablets I now have come out with small blisters on my hands and feet soles. Any Ideas?

immediately stop taking penicillin. there may be two main cause of blister. one the drug might be expired. secondly these drugs are notorious for causing rare allergic reactions in few individuals. so take it after sensitivity test. you can have azithromycin or cefpodoxime as a good alternative if your flu has got added bacterial infection. otherwise no need to take antibiotic for viral flu.
