What Causes Blisters On The Back Side Of Tongue?

Within the last week I have started having what appear to be blisters on the back of my tongue that hurt with spicy foods, rough foods, etc. My tongue also feels like I have sand on it and have a hard time eating things like crackers, nutritional bars. I do not have a sore throat. The only thing I have done differently has started taking generic clarintin daily prescribed my by family doctor. Can you help me?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The blisters over the back side of the tongue can be because of the trauma or it can be because of pemphigus vulgaris. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can use topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. Do saline gargling.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care,.
