What Causes Bloating, Gas And Constipation?

my husband starting feeling bloated and had gas, Friday evening. Since then he has been extremely uncomfortable, constipated, tired, achey. He has tried everything he can think of to relieve the gas and the very bloated and uncomfortable symptoms. Nothing is helping. Do you have any suggestions, or should I take him to the emergency room?

Hello

Your husband may be suffering from acidity.
I suggest slow intravenous injection of pantoprazole 40 mg.Along with this ,he may need combination of antacid and anesthetic gel.This will give him immediate relief.

Later he may need upper GI endoscopy to search for any signs of peptic ulcer.
I also suggest short course of proton pump inhibitors like tablet pantoprazole 40 mg once daily for six weeks.This helps in longer remisssion.

Ultrasound of abdomen should also be done.
