General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi

Thanks for your query.

Noted the history and understood the concerns. Bloating of the stomach can have multiple causes with the history of dieting and loss / gain of weight.
There could have been altered bacterial flora due to the diet changes you made.
In the name of eating healthy you might have cause sub-clinical intestinal infection causing gas producing bacterial overgrowth.
I would advise you the following in such a case:
Get the stool tests done.
Ultrasonography of abdomen for looking for gallbladder stone and so on.
Tests of blood and urine.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics may help you a lot.
Revert back to the foods which suit you the most.
Avoid aerated drinks.
Avoid the foods and beverages that you might have noticed to cause the gases.
If there are gallstones then you need a surgery to remove the gallbladder.

Take Care
