What Causes Blood And Mucous In Stool With Occult Blood Positive?
Hi, my 3 year old daughter has macro blood in stools, with mucus. It is not every day but recently is more frecuently. I noticed the blood when she is constipated or with some effort to evacuate. Today I made a stool test which was normal (no blood seen) but the occult blood test was positive. I have history of juvenile familiar poliposys and had my large bowel removed when I was 24. What should I do?

Hi..with positive family history and above mentioned symptoms its better to evaluate the child for same disorder..u can visit gastroenterologist if possible..thanks
