Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When i wipe my bum after poo, small amounts of blood are on the toilet paper and it hurts (just a little bit) when i wipe. This happens nearly every time. I have also noticed that there are small strains (like spagetti, length of a finger nail) that are red in my stool. When i squeeze it on the toilet paper the strain looks like blood, (probably is, but blood can't be thick like that can it ?) I'm a male. Very worried, I know I should go to a doctor but I really want to know what it is first, and if i should be worried. Im 17 (no chance of cancer I guess.) Wouldn't be some form of STI would it ?
