What Causes Blood Clots After A D And C Procedure?

I'm 77 yrs old, had a D & C in Sept. because of blood showing in uterus. After D & C bled for about 2 weeks. After that, have bled a few days every month. Currently, passed a quarter size clot on the 2nd. of Dec. and still "leaking" blood. What should be my next step?

HI,
I understand your concerns . I believe that you need to be started on tablet tranexamic acid and see for a week . If the bleeding does not stop you need to get a hysterctomy done as dilatation and curettage and medicines are not stopping the bleed. Also can you tell us the report of the dilatation and curettage done i september as it will help us further treating you.
I find this answer helpful
