Hello,

I work in a dialysis facility and clots of fistulas or grafts are a very common complication of dialysis access, that's why we usually prescribe blood thinners (i.e Aspirin) on alternate days (the days when he's not undergoing the dialysis) to prevent clots.

In such cases, I would recommend a therapy with low weight heparin (on alternates days) and systemic antibiotics, but since these are prescription drugs, I would suggest you to consult a local dialysis doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
