What Causes Blood Clots In Urine With Pain In Lower Bladder Area?

I was having blood and stringy like small blood clots in my urine with pain at the final stage of urinating. No burning, only pain on my lower, bladder area. Friday all day. Drank lots of extra water and cranberry juice and the sympton disapeared. Should I see a doctor?

Hello

Blood in urine (hematuria) may be due to UTI,genito-urinary calculus, tumour etc.
It may be due to genitourinary calculus in your case as you have pain in pelvis region.
You may need clinical evaluation and few investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test and ultrasound of KUB.
Ultrasound of KUB region is very important and it can exclude many causes.
CT scan of abdomen can be done after evaluation.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
You should drink plenty of water.
You need evaluation by a urologist.

Get well soon.
Take Care
