What Causes Blood Discharge While Urinating?
hello. i'm a 19 year old woman. i used the bathroom yesterday and was quite surprised to see that i was urniating blood. this is not my period, seeing as that was 2 weeks ago. i am experiencing no pain. later that day, i had very runny, and also bloody diahreha. all through the night, i have been bleeding, and also peed out a lot of blood this morning...what's going on?

first i would like to tell you that these symptoms of blood appear in urine refer to two common causes....first you may have small renal gravels or stones that causes that and in this case we do ultrasound scan to confirm diagnosis.......second you may have urinary tract infection that causes red blood cells in urine .......the causative micro organism of infection might be bacterial or viral....simply you need to do urine culture for investogation....if bacterial infection suspected treatment should begin with antibiotic indicated....to have best results we should do antibiotic sensitivity test as this test will detect the most antibiotic that bacteria is sensitive for.....as some bacteria causing urinary tract infection may have resistance to some of antibiotics..........limit your sexual contact this period of time because you may get infected from sexual contact with other......you can follow these simple steps and do ultrasound scan and urine culture then refer to urologist or send to us the results and we will help you.......dont worry you will be fine.......wish you healthy life
