What Causes Blood Discharges In Diarrhea?

Hello, Ive had dirrea for a few days now. I was going to start antibiotics today but didnt since hoped i would stop by itself. this evening i saw blood in the stool and im worried. i gone to the toilet 2 times now since and now its only blood coming. not huge amounts but still... Im in Africa now but will travel to Europe monday. would it be stupid to wait untill then?
