Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is his stool too hard to cause pain while passing? Too tight stools can cause tear (anal fissure) to cause bleeding. Usually, this is just a streaking rather than frank bleeding, and will be associated with pain. This needs laxatives (like Laxopeg) to loosen the stools. Applying Lignocaine jelly can reduce pain. Kindly follow your doctors instruction. Meanwhile, drink enough fluids and include lot of fibres in diet (vegetables and fruits).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
