What Causes Blood In Bowels?
I have been seeing blood in the toilet after a bowel movement for the past week or so. However, it looks to me like the blood is coming out at the end (it is not mixed in with the stool). The blood is bright red and my stool is not black, so I don't think the blood is in my stool. I had a baby 5 months ago and I'm wondering if the problem stems from childbirth. Should I see a doctor or wait to see if it stops on it's own? Could it be a hemorrhoid even though I have no severe pain? Or a tear?

Seems likely related to hemorrhoid more likely than fissure. Hemorrhoid can present without severe or sometimes little pain also. It is recommended to consult your surgeon for the diagnosis and cure without waiting as the loss of blood will affect possible breast feeding amount via anemia.
