What Causes Blood In Bowels?
My wife just pooped a "lot" of blood and she says her stomach hurts now. The pain isnt enough to consider an emergency. She is at work, so I dont have all the detailed details. Is this something that should require her leaving work immediately, or is this something that is going to take time to heal regardless?

It is highly likely she has gastrointestinal bleeding. She should go to emergency department now. She needs emergent evaluation of the bleeding.
