What Causes Blood In Stool And Tenderness Around Anus?

Hello. I am a 36 year old female that weighs 130 pounds and is 5.2" in height. Yesterday when I had a bowel movement-it was rather large and I strained a bit-I wiped and noticed bright red blood on the tissue paper. There was also a streak of bright red blood on the surface of the stool. The area around my anus feels tender. Should I be worried? I have had 2 more BM like the above with less blood.
