What Causes Blood In Stool, Lump Behind Ear And Kidney Pain?
Hi I am worried. I have had chronic hives and fatigue for over six months now. Over the last two wks I have developed pain in my right kidney area and I have blood in my urine. My gp has given me 7 days off antibiotic but I ve had no improvement and I ve finished the course. I have now notice a large hard lump behind my right ear on the mastoid bone which is really tender to touch and staring to throb a bit. I m starting to think I have something nasty going on ??
Hi. Thanks for your query. You have different issues. 1. Blood in stool/Urine: with pain in the right kidney area and under antibiotic cover. I hope you have already been undergone through the standard investigations like tests of blood, urine, ultrasonography and so. Further treatment would definitely help you to get well. 2. If the lump behind the ear develops in spite of antibiotic coverage, I am worries that it may be a satellite abscess due to severe UTI and hence you should ask for ultrasonography and surgery of this lump if needed. Get investigated and treated properly. In such a situation ruling out diabetes is very important.
