General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Hard stool ate often accompanied by bright red fresh blood in children. Blood appears only in hard stool and not in the soft stool. Increase her fluid intake. If her constipation is cured then give her a mild laxative for a few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
