Hello,

It indicates underlying inflammatory bowel condition, which requires
- GI antibiotics (oral or intravenous as per clinical evaluation)
- Probiotics
- Correction of fluid electrolyte imbalance and hemoglobin levels if any.
- Later on according to the progress in-depth evaluation with colonoscopy to locate the issue may be required or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
