What Causes Blood In Stool?

Hi. I'm only 17. 4'11, 42 kg. Sorry for the bad english. I hope you could understand. I'm just wondering, it happened to me 4 times already. My stool has blood. Just like having menstruatioin. Anyway, I'm afraid to tell my parents. can you please tell me what this means? :(
