What Causes Blood In Stools, Inflamed And Swollen Colon And Constipation?

I cant go to the bathroom I have to get my poop out with my fingers and inside my butt it fills all inflamed and swallon... I went to a colon doctor did stool sample & found blood in my stool. Please help to let me know what this could be. P s my poop is somtimes hard then turns to diarea... I have a lot of orange n yellow looking mucus Come out.

In most cases, causes of abdominal pain and bleeding through rectum are benign and include hemorrhoids, anal fissure or rectal polyps. These are primarily treated with stool softener, diet and sitzbaths. If there is no improvement in next few weeks, then surgical management should be considered. Other causes may be more serious and include tumors or inflammatory bowel diseases and these should be ruled out with colonoscopy which must be done if there is low blood count present or rapid weight loss. Otherwise, you can see if conservative therapy will help and consult proctologist if necessary

According to your complain you have problem of blood in stool and alternative diarrhea and constipation problem that may be because of intestinal condition.

Ulcerative colitis may cause blood in stool.
Internal or external hemorroid problem also cause blood in stool. Anorectal examination give exact idea.

Diverticulitis or intestinal poly cause blood in stool and other abdominal problems.
Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Proper history and investigation helpful for diagnosis.
