What Causes Blood In Stools?

Dear Doctor,I could see some blood with my stool and i couldn t feel any pain . iam using Inderal(Propranolol) tablets 10 mg+10 mg in the morning and 10mg + 10mg in the evening as directed by physician. I am taking the tablets for i fave Maigreen headache. I don t know the reeson behaind the blood presence on the stool. Kindly advice me.Thankds and regards,Jabi

Is it fresh blood or black color stools?? Fresh blood always comes from lower gi tract and black color stools from upper gi tract.
Causes of fresh blood in stools
Anal fissure, fistula, hemorrhoids, diverticulitis, angiodysplasis, baciilary dysentery, amoebic dysentery(mucous), and eldery people with rectal malignancy.
Once check weather your passing hard stools, suffering from constipation.
Painless fresh bleed most commonly from internal hemorrhoids (piles) and CA rectum.
Take Plenty of water, HI fiber diet, stool softner. If symptoms are not improved consult your physician immediately.
