What Causes Blood In Stools?

I am a 49 year old female. I have been seeing red in my stool. It is not runny but with more shape. It is not related to foods, like red fruits or vegetables and is happening more regularly lately. I also have blood when I wipe. Ideas what this could be?

As you mentioned you have problem of blood in stool that may be because of hemorroid problem or other reasons..
Ulcerative colitis or diverticulitia may lead to blood in stool..
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
