What Causes Blood In The Stool After Appendectomy?

I had an appendectomy 2 weeks ago. I feel no pain or any sort of complications with my recovery of any sort. when I went to go poop, it felt like diarrhea and i looked into the toilet and all i saw was blood. Can someone please help me out and tell me what this is?

Dear- thanks for using HCM, it is important to go to your surgeon for this rectal bleeding. It is not normal to have rectal bleeding, so you want to make sure that there is no complications after the appendectomy. However, the most common cause of bright blood in the toilet is hemorrhoid, but you need to make sure with the surgeon.
